People talk about self-discipline, hope, faith, dreams, some believe in magic…everyone has their own special thing. I’m a big believer in PASSION.

There have been many times in my life where I thought perhaps this may not happen!  People I wanted to meet, people I needed to meet, but then through PASSION (which gives you perseverance), I met those people. There was the time shortly after my oldest daughter was born, that the apartment my husband and I lived in, owned and that we loved so much, blew up in a New York City steam pipe explosion.  We luckily weren’t in the apartment when it happened (we had just left the building), our neighbor across the hall was killed. We lived in four different places in the following year.  It was a difficult year, but we choose to see the positive…our clothes and furniture were  gone, but we were still alive.  Anything was possible.  I still had my PASSION.

When I was diagnosed with a brain cancer and told by some doctors that there wasn’t much they could do, they suggested additional operations, but they told me these wouldn’t save my life. I continued to look for another doctor.  I found that doctor.  I’m still here.  If I had just accepted the fact that nothing could have been done, if I hadn’t remained open minded and PASSIONATE, my outcome may have been different.

We must not muffle our creativity-it’s from here that some of our greatest ideas are born. For my whole life I’ve lived and breathed PASSION. I do everything I can about what I wish to do, until of course I realize that it’s not meant to be. You will know when that happens, but you have to give it a chance.

When I walked 250 miles from my house in New York to Mass General Hospital where I received life saving treatment, I met people who I found to be inspirational and who said they found me inspirational.  Those people don’t know it, but they were the ones that created the PASSION in me to become a Life Coach; they made me feel that if I could help them in just that few moments I met them, I imagined what I could do for people I would meet in the future once I received my Life Coach certification. Here I am.  PASSION makes things possible.  Helping others find their PASSION is what Life Coaching is all about.
