It’s really all in how we look at things, isn’t it? You may choose to think about the fact that something isn’t working out, or you can think about how you’re going to change it. You can think about how far you have to go, or you can think about how far you’ve already come. You can think about the fact that you’re miserable and that things suck and they never will change, or you can do something about it. It’s how you see it! There’s always something in our lives that we could change. Some of us have bigger projects and some of us have smaller ones, but there’s always something that can be improved. The difference is what it is that’s in your mind, in your body that will bring you from that feeling of “I could never” or “whatever” to “today is the day”. It has to mean something TO YOU. You have to feel it. You have to commit to doing it. Gather your power. Imagine what you would get from achieving it? Ask yourself these questions:

  1. What are you currently doing that’s working towards your goal?
  2. What would be the costs or negative outcomes of not doing what you are thinking of doing?
  3. What is the single most important thing to advance toward your goal?
  4. If you saw someone else in your situation, what would you recommend?
  5. On a scale of 1-10, how committed are you to making that goal happen within your time frame?

How did you do? Did this tell you anything? Sometimes what we want but don’t do, tells us a lot about our subconscious mind. Often the thing we really want may also be fraught with our biggest fears and anxieties…that can be a tougher mountain to climb. Or it may be that you don’t want it as much as you thought you did? If you do want to reach your goal, then there’s no better day to start than today. The path to success is action!!!
